We'll be at School of the Arts on Saturday, May 18th at 7:30pm for Finding Oz. Finding Oz starts "at a high-school reunion 20 years in the future. After a harmless incident occurs, we are transported back to high school (in the present day) where three characters, a gay male, a loner, and a genderqueer teacher are introduced." The story is told through dialogue and the use of music from the OZ musicals (The Boy from Oz, Wicked, The Wiz, and the Wizard of Oz, as well as from the songbook of Judy Garland), and the use of projections.
Repertoire: The Boy From Oz: All the Lives of Me; Don't Cry Out Loud; Quiet Please, There's a Lady on the Stage; Songbook of Judy Garland: Smile; The Wiz: Brand New Day; Don't Nobody Bring Me No Bad News; Ease on Down the Road; We Got It; You Can't Win; The Wizard of Oz: Over the Rainbow; Wicked: What is This Feeling?; Defying Gravity; For Good.
